Now we know a little about this island, let´s explore some of the leading resorts in Lanzarote. Most of the best places to visit lie in the southern and eastern areas.
There are a few beautiful areas to the north but fewer to the west of the island. This is because Timanfaya National Park takes up a chunk of the western coast.
In the south the top resort is Playa Blanca but Puerto Calero is also worth checking out. Costa Teguise, Puerto Carmen and Arrecife lie on the eastern coast. A popular location in the north is Haria.
